John T. Riedl ACM RecSys Lasting Impact Award
Call for Nominations
The Award Committee solicits nominations (including self-nominations) of the peer-reviewed full papers published in the ACM Recsys Conference in the research and industry tracks at least 10 conference years prior (between 2007 and 2016) that have significant and long-lasting impact in advancing the theory and practice of the RecSys field, including making outstanding research contributions, transferring research innovations to practice in substantial and innovative ways, developing innovative commercial systems, and demonstrating other positive types of impact, such as in education, development of standards, etc.
All members of the RecSys community are invited to nominate papers for this award. However, each person can nominate only one paper. Self-nominations are allowed.
Eligibility criteria
Nominations of peer-reviewed full papers published in the ACM RecSys Conference at least 10 conference years prior (between 2007 and 2016), including papers in the research and industry tracks.
Nomination Information
To nominate a candidate (including self-nomination), please fill in the following Nomination Form by June 25. Among other things, the nomination should include a one sentence explaining what the significant and lasting contribution of the nominated paper is and a brief nomination statement (about 200 – 250 words) describing specific impact that the paper has had on the RecSys field, including research, industrial practice, education, and other types of impact that go beyond bare statistics, such as citation counts.
