ACM Summer School on Recommender Systems

The 2024 RecSys summer school will be held in Bari, Italy, as a pre-program of this year’s Recsys Conference from Tuesday, October 8, to Saturday, October 12. The school is co-funded by SIGCHI via its conference development fund for the ACM conference series on Recommender Systems.

Leaders in the field will give lectures on the practice, research, and state of the art in recommender systems. The lectures cover a broad range of topics from an algorithmic as well as a methodological perspective and will also include hands-on sessions. In addition, upcoming and trending topics such as recommendations based on large language models will be addressed as well.

Participation at the summer school requires registration via this website. Registration will remain open until the capacity limit is reached. Reserving an accommodation is the responsibility of the participants. We provide pointers to recommended dormitories and hotels that offer reduced rates for the RecSys 2024 Summer School participants.
