INCLUSION

As the organizers of RecSys 2025, we are committed to providing an inclusive, safe, and respectful conference environment for all attendees. Given the impact of our community’s work on society, we appreciate now more than ever the importance of providing an inclusive and accessible conference that brings together a diverse recommender systems community.

We are continuing several inclusion initiatives that turned out successful in past RecSys conferences and adding a new service:

  • As in past years, RecSys will provide deeply discounted rates for attendees registering in countries designated by ACM as “economically developing” (categorization based on World Bank GNI), acknowledging the impact of exchange rates and international inequities. These will be available directly on the RecSys 2025 registration page.
  • As a new initiative, RecSys will offer child care facilities to parents with young children at the conference venue.
  • Participants do not need to have a paper accepted to use this service. Applications will open on July 1st and will be available in the registration form.

Explore funding opportunities for RecSys participants:

  • ACM support for women undergraduate and graduate students in computer science.
  • SIGCHI students and early-career researchers travel grants.
  • NSF travel grant for US-based students with accepted Recsys 2025 contribution lacking institutional support (to be announced).
