Clocks Change Time Tonight 25th Octobre 2008

Instant personalized TV entertainment developer, Gravity R&D, winner of the Strands $100k Call for Recommender Start-Ups 25th Octobre 2008
Gravity R&D, developer of an Instant personalized entertainment solution for TV, has been selected by the jury as Winner of the first edition of the Strands $100K Call for Recommender Start-ups. Gravity R&D will be offered an investment of $100,000 from Strands, Inc.

Free public transports 23rd Octobre 2008 - 10:35
The town of Lausanne has an agreement with hotels to offer public transport to all visitors. So please don't hesitate to ask you hotel to provide you with a pass during your whole stay in Lausanne.
Welcome Desk 20th Octobre 2008
Because of the first day tutorials taking place in a different room than the main conference, the welcome desk will be at different places.
- 23 Oct, morning and afternoon (tutorials): as of 09:00 am, the welcome desk will be held right in front of BC01.
- 23 Oct, opening reception: as of 06:30 pm, the welcome desk will be at the Polydome, and during the whole opening reception.
- 24 Oct: the welcome desk will open at the Polydome, staffed as of 07:30 am. Welcome Coffee and Croissant will be offered.
- 25 Oct: the welcome desk will open at the Polydome as of 08:00 am.
Furthermore, a practical information sheet is already available for those who want to have all the essentials (programm & co.) on one single sheet. Latest version will always be available at welcome desk.

Tutorials: change of room 10th Octobre 2008
Please note that there is a change of room for the tutorial, October 23, 2008: it will not take place in room BC410 as announced earlier, but will be in BC01 (ground floor).
Gala Dinner announced 9th Octobre 2008
We are pleased to announce that conference dinner will be held in Lausanne's famous Olympic Museum. On this special occasion, the whole museum will be booked for the conference participants who will have the opportunity to visit the museum at their convenience all evening until midnight.
A bus will take participants from the Polydome to Movenpick hotel and then the Lausanne Olympic Museum, departing à 06:15 pm from the Avenue Piccard, outside the Polydome. An aperitif will be served until 07:30pm, and dinner until 09:00pm. The museum will stay open until midnight for visiting.
