REGISTRATION OPTIONS

To participate in RecSys 2023, registration for the main conference is mandatory, which for physical attendance includes an evening reception at the Marina Bay Sands Expo with food and drinks included. Additional tickets for this social event are available for purchase on the registration site.
Registering for the tutorials and/or workshops is optional; all prices are in USD and include VAT.
Changing between virtual and physical attendance is possible before the early bird registration deadline.

In striving for a conference cost that is affordable for all, we have deeply discounted rates available for those registering in countries designated by ACM as “economically developing”. Countries in category H receive a discount of 60%, category I receive a discount of 75%.

The cancellation deadline is August 20th, the Early Bird deadline is August 13th.

AUTHOR POLICY

• Each accepted proceedings paper (main track papers, demos, late breaking results, reproducibility and industry tracks) must have at least one author registered by the camera-ready date for the corresponding contribution to be included in the proceedings. The registration has to be for physical attendance.
• The same holds for contributions accepted for workshops and RecSys challenge. Each accepted workshop paper must have at least one author registered by September 11th.

In practice, this means that authors pay a single registration fee, regardless of the number of contributions accepted (e.g., if an author submits and gets accepted a long and a short paper, a single registration would fulfill the policy mentioned above).

STUDENT POLICY

Anyone registering at the student rate must be a student member of ACM. The ACM membership ID serves as a proof for being a student during the registration process. If you are not yet an ACM student member you can apply anytime for membership. A valid student ID willl be required on-site.

ACCOMMODATION & TRAVEL

For information with regards to accommodation and travel, please visit the RecSys 2023 location page. To receive a visa support letter you must be a registered attendee, as they are requested during the registration process. Please allow 48 business hours from receipt of your confirmation email for your support letter to arrive. For further assistance please email.

PAYMENT POLICY

All payments for Recsys 2023 must be made in US dollars and fees are due upon completion of your registration. Payments can be made via credit card or wire transfer until August 31st, 2023. Beginning September 1st, only credit card payments will be accepted.
