MORS: Workshop on Multi-Objective Recommender Systems
The 1st Workshop on Multi-Objective Recommender Systems (MORS) at RecSys 2021 aims at bringing researchers and industry experts to discuss the importance and complications of incorporating multiple objectives into the recommender systems, which is often the case in real-world applications. This objectives could be all related to the user who receives the recommendations (e.g., relevance, diversity, novelty, etc) or could come from other users or other stakeholders (e.g., fairness issues, reciprocal recommendation, group recommendation, long-term user satisfaction, profit maximization, etc). In this workshop, we welcome research papers about topics that deal with two or more objectives that needs to be incorporated in the recommendation generation and/or evaluation. The workshop will include a keynote speaker from industry, presentations of the accepted papers, and discussion for future research.
