RecSys 2007 invites your participation through submissions in the research, practice, and doctoral consortium categories.  Full research papers are due June 3, 2007 by 23:59 PDT.  Doctoral consortium submissions are due June 17, 2007; and all other submissions are due June 10, 2007.  Please click on the links above to review the specific types of submission sought.

Why submit to RecSys 2007?

At the very successful Recommenders06 in Bilbao, Spain, many members of the practitioner and research communities valued the rich sharing of ideas made possible by the shared plenary sessions. We seek to build on that success by following up with a conference that combines the same close interaction among practitioners and researchers with a fully refereed published collection of papers. The proceedings, which are available both as bound volume and via the ACM Digital Library, are expected to be widely read and cited.

The central track of the technical program will comprise plenary presentations of full-length papers, selected by the program committee after in-depth analysis and discussion. A complementary set of short paper presentations and demos will stimulate discussion on work in progress. The conference experience will also include invited talks by leading figures in the field. The hallway discussions will be especially lively, since all attendees will have a shared interest in recommenders.
